Here's a picture of Me (Blaze) in action. The firemen were teaching me how to put out a fire with water from the fire hose. I didn't put out a fire but that tree sure got watered good.

Check it out! Some of my cousins on the door of the big white Engine 58. One of the Fire Department Captains, Jim Younger, found this picture and put it on the fire truck. Yea Jim!!!

Blaze's Safety Tips

Getting help is easy I say, call 911 night or day.

Do you know what I am? A smoke detector that's right. Did you know smoke detectors can save lives? You have to take care of me,  test me regularly and change my batteries twice a year.
